<br /> <br />4Q <br /> <br />'" <br /> <br />pLEASANTONc <br /> <br />City Council <br />Staff Report <br /> <br />February 7, 2006 <br />Public Works Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF <br />RESURFACING OF <br />PROJECT NO. 045003RF <br /> <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR <br />VARIOUS CITY STREETS, <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council take the following action at the <br />meeting of February 07, 2006: <br /> <br />I. Accept the improvements for the subject project. <br /> <br />2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the subject <br />project. <br /> <br />3. Authorize final payment to C.F. Archibald Paving in the amount of <br />$133. <br /> <br />4. Authorize payment of retention in the amount of $77,350.78 to C.F. <br />Archibald thirty days after fIling the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />SUMMARY: <br /> <br />Construction of the subject project is complete and is ready for <br />acceptance. The objective of this project is to keep City streets in a safe <br />and smooth riding condition by overlaying the existing street surface with <br />a new layer of asphalt concrete. <br /> <br />SR 06:046 <br />Page I of 3 <br />
