CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAlVlEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-14 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REVISED <br />ALIGNMENT AND STREET CROSS-SECTION FOR <br />DEL VALLE PARKWAY (BETWEEN THE FIRST <br />STREET/STANLEY BOULEVARD INTERSECTION <br />AND BERNAL AVENUE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Irby Family Trust has submitted an application to relocate a portion of <br />the preliminary alignment of, and to revise the street cross-section for, a <br />segment of Del Valle Parkway between the First Street/Stanley Boulevard <br />intersection and Bernal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 4, 1997, the City Council reviewed the report of the <br />Director of Planning and Community Development (SR 97:65) regarding <br />the proposed relocated alignment and revised street cross-section; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time interested parties were <br />given an oppommity to present testimony and documents regarding the <br />proposed relocated alignment and revised street cross-section; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council determined that the proposed relocation/revision to the Del <br />Valle Parkway aligmnent and cross-section are consistent with the policies <br />of the General Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council approves the application of the Irby Family Trust to <br />relocate a portion of the preliminary alignment of, and to revise the street <br />cross-section for, a segment of Del Valle Parkway between the First <br />Street/Stanley Boulevard intersection and Bemal Avenue, with a minimum <br />20 foot setback for the face of curb from the top of the slopebank of the <br />Arroyo Del Valle, as shown on the attached realignment and cross-section, <br />except that the right of way and cross-section shall be modified to include <br />ten feet of right of way along the north side of the street, incorporating a <br />five foot planter and five foot sidewalk; should the ultimate development <br /> <br /> <br />
