Land uses involving hazardous materials or other hazards include
hazardous waste transfer facilities, paint and paint product manufacturing facilities,
semiconductor manufacturers, medical device manufacturers, and petroleum product and
natural gas pipelines.
The area is home to numerous businesses and industries that manufacture, store, use,
and dispose of hazardous materials and hazardous waste. Some of these businesses are
neighbors to urbanized population areas.
ANNEX G —Local Hazard Mitigation Annex 6
Updated 12/12105
