CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA ORDINANCE NO. 1930 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 18.32.030, PERMITTED USES, AND 18.32.040, CONDITIONAL USES, OF CHAPTER 18.32, R-I0NE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS, OF THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ.30 WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 14, 2004, the Planning Commission reviewed Sections 18.32.030, Permitted Uses, and 18.30.040, Conditional Uses, of Chapter 18.32, R-l One-Family Residential Districts, of the Pleasanton Municipal Code and recommended that the City Council amend these sections of Chapter 18.32 to allow the keeping of chickens in the R-l One-Family Residential District; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 3, 2006, the City Council reviewed the report of the Director of Planning and Community Development (SR 06:015) regarding amendments to Sections 18.32.030, Permitted Uses, and 18.32.040, Conditional Uses, of Chapter 18.32, R-l One-Family Residential Districts, of the Pleasanton Municipal Code and the recommendations of the Planning Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Sections 18.32.030, Permitted Uses, and 18.32.040, Conditional Uses, of Chapter 18.32, R-l One-Family Residential Districts, of the Pleasanton Municipal Code pertaining to the keeping of chickens in the R-l One-Family Residential Districts are hereby amended to read as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 3. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
