<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1930 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 18.32.030, PERMITTED USES, <br />AND 18.32.040, CONDITIONAL USES, OF CHAPTER 18.32, <br />R-I0NE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS, OF THE PLEASANTON <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ.30 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 14, 2004, the Planning Commission reviewed <br />Sections 18.32.030, Permitted Uses, and 18.30.040, Conditional Uses, of <br />Chapter 18.32, R-l One-Family Residential Districts, of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code and recommended that the City Council amend these <br />sections of Chapter 18.32 to allow the keeping of chickens in the R-l <br />One-Family Residential District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 3, 2006, the City Council reviewed the report of <br />the Director of Planning and Community Development (SR 06:015) <br />regarding amendments to Sections 18.32.030, Permitted Uses, <br />and 18.32.040, Conditional Uses, of Chapter 18.32, R-l One-Family <br />Residential Districts, of the Pleasanton Municipal Code and the <br />recommendations of the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Sections 18.32.030, Permitted Uses, and 18.32.040, Conditional Uses, of <br />Chapter 18.32, R-l One-Family Residential Districts, of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code pertaining to the keeping of chickens in the R-l <br />One-Family Residential Districts are hereby amended to read as set forth in <br />Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 3. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br />days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general <br />circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance <br />shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within <br />fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br />
