CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-12 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CASE Z-97-17, THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO <br />EXPAND THE POLICE DEPARTMENT BUILDING <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has applied for design review approval to construct a <br />7,602_+ square foot, single- and two-story addition to the existing <br />Pleasanton police station generally located to the northwest of the Main <br />Street/Bemal Avenue intersection at 4833 Bernal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Public and Institutional CP'') District with the <br /> Civic Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br /> California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval <br /> of the proposed design review; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 18, 1997; and <br /> <br /> .h <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed addition is appropriately <br /> designed and would be compatible with the existing police station; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves Case Z-97-17, the application of the City of Pleasanton for design <br />review approval to construct a 7,602+ square foot, single- and two-story <br />addition to the existing Pleasanton police station generally located to the <br />northwest of the Main Street/Bernal Avenue intersection at 4833 Bernal <br />Avenue, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
