Units are often in the form of <br />apartments or duets. In accordance with current growth management practices, age restricted <br />(senior) apartments and homes have been considered residential units subject to growth <br />management. <br /> <br />~ One of the main benefits of a CCRC is that it promotes independence as one ages. This <br />results in some residents selecting to participate in services that are slightly greater than <br />those provided at a full service independent living facility that may include services such as <br />transportation, social services, and a voluntary meals program. <br /> <br />~ Residency in a CCRC averages about 8 to 10 years which IS similar to residency III <br />independent living age restricted developments. <br /> <br />SR 06:034 <br />Page 3 of8 <br />
