<br />CONTRACT <br /> <br />AMADOR V ALLEY COMMUNITY PARK FIELD RENOVATION <br /> <br />PROJECT NO. 037041 <br /> <br />THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into this 17'h day of January, 2006 by and <br />between Suarez and Munoz Construction, Inc., ("Contractor"), whose address is 6315 <br />Valley View Road, Oakland, CA 94611, and telephone number is (510) 339-2141 and <br />the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has awarded to the Contractor a contract for Amador <br />Valley Community Park Field Renovation, Project No. 057010. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, <br />the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />I. Work to be Performed. The work will generally consist of: <br /> <br />Demolition, irrigation installation, grading, soil preparation, planting, temporary <br />fencing and related improvements to the eastern side of Amador Valley <br />Community Park. <br /> <br />Said work is more particularly shown in the following documents which are on <br />file with the Department of Public Works of the City and are incorporated herein <br />by this reference: <br /> <br />A. Plans and Specifications entitled the Amador Valley Community <br />Park Field Renovation Project, CIP No. 037041 and addenda <br />thereto, if any. <br /> <br />B. Contract Change Orders approved by the City Engineer, done in <br />accordance with the Standard Specifications. <br /> <br />C. The proposal submitted to the City by the Contractor. <br /> <br />2. Compensation. The City shall pay the Contractor for work actually performed at <br />the unit prices set out in the Contractor's proposal to the City. The quantities of <br />work stated therein are estimates only; actual quantities will be measured for <br />payment in accordance with the specifications. <br />
