He <br />also clarified that the applicant"s intention is 1"10t to provide hybrid cars as part o-rthe <br />project" bL1-t is looking at providing plug-in stations Tor electric cars. l'v1r. Ivancovicl"1 <br />noted that Roche is not currently planning to in..clude public art on this project. 1'v1.r. <br />Ivancovich provided a visual presentation ot- the project,. depicting the existing calT1pus <br />and proposed building. <br /> <br />lV1r. Ivancovich.. advised that they arc attempting to achieve the minimum LEBD <br />certification in compliance VV"ith the Green Building Ordinance. Commissioner ~ameny stat:ed this is a very attractive tacility and <br />an extremely large facility, and that he feels a facility this large should have public art. <br />lVIr. Ivarrocovich advised that this is an area that l"1as been. discussed and is ul"1der <br />consideration" but at this point: the applicant vvas not ready to make this cornn""1itment. <br />Discussion ens-ued about potential locations for public art on this campus.
