Actions of the Zoning Adxrxinistrator <br />Commissioner Roberts noted that with respect to Allan Roberts' application For a lot line <br />adjustment, she did not believe he would he allowed to do any adjustment until the water <br />Laxxk issue was settled- <br />Mr_ Swig advised that there was no requirement or condition on that matter, and that it <br />would be a two-stage process, with all the risk being borne by Mr_ Roberts- Ha adjusted <br />the boundary between the Grove and Koberts residences, the City's water tank site has <br />not been sold, and that boundary line has not been adjusted. <br />Commissioner Roberts noted that with respect to the West Coast Sign matter, two off--site <br />free-standing directional signs for Motel 6 were planned. <br />Mr. Swift noted that the reason they were off-site was because they were on the <br />driveways leading to the motel. When the street was reworked, Motel 6 lost soma of the <br />frontage; the signage was installed to direct customers to the motel. <br />Commissioner Koberts advised that she and Mr. Jost had attended the open house for <br />Applied Biosystems that morning, and noted that the tour was very interesting. She noted <br />that the battles over the windows directed natural light Further into the rooms. She noted <br />that the insulation was ground-up denim, and added that she had not seen their public art <br />pieces. <br />Mr_ SwiR noted that the operation and nun~xber of employees had diminished <br />considerably, and that only one building was occupied. They did not plan to start any new <br />buildings for Uie foreseeable future- <br />C'orrxmissioner Sullivan believed that members of the Energy Coxrxmittee may be <br />interested in seeing the site. <br />9.
