Commissioner Maas noted that she had attended. classes at the Veterans Memorial <br />Building, and was concerned at the poor state of the building- She recalled the discussion <br />regarding maintaining older buildings to avoid demolition. <br />23. Commissioner Sedlak noted that Commissioner <br />Maas's comments addressed a difficult issue, and that he agreed with her concerns. <br />Commissioner Sullivan believed it would be a consistent treatment of downtown <br />properties, both residential and commercial. <br />26.
