<br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY/ ALAMEDA <br /> RESOLUTION NO, 05-083 <br />RESOLUTION SETTING COMPENSATION FOR MANAGEMENT AND <br />CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, compensation for the City's management and confidential employees, <br /> except the City Manager and City Attorney, is set forth in the City's <br /> Management Compensation Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the current Management and Confidential Compensation Plan expired <br /> on August 31, 2005; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to <br /> increase the salary control points for each management and <br /> confidential classification to allow for performance-based salary <br /> increases not to exceed a pool equal to 3.5% of management <br /> compensation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Approves a revision to the Management and Confidential Employees <br /> Compensation Plan to allow for performance-based salary increases not to <br /> exceed a pool equal to 3.5% of management compensation and authorizes <br /> the City Manager to implement the revised Management Compensation Plan. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> --,.._--- <br />
