. .
. -4-
LATE IN 2004 MY WELL TESTED AT 54 PPM. I HAD SEVERAL OTHER
WELLS TESTED ALONG WITH MINE AT THE SAME TIME. OF THE 6 WELLS
TESTED, THE LOWEST READING WAS A 35 AND THE HIGHEST WAS AN 83,
ALL WAY ABOVE THE FEDERAL LIMIT OF 10 PPM.
IN MY OPINION:
1. THE BUILDING MORATORIUM SHOULD STILL BE IN PLACE.
2. PLEASANTON SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO ANNEX
AND THEN ALLOW DEVELOPMENT OF BRIDLE CREEK,
SUMMER HILL, LIN PROPERTY AND A 1,200 GALLON FUEL
. TANK ON OUR CLOSED AQUIFER,
3. PLEASANTON SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO ANNEX
AND THEN BUILD A GOLF DUMP, WHICH WILL REQUIRE MORE
INSECTICIDES, PESTICIDES, FERTILIZER, A PARKING LOT AND
ROADS TO HANDLE 4,000 CARS PER DAY AND ALL THEIR
PETROLEUM RUN-OFF, PLEASANTON IS ALSO ALLOWING
DEVELOPMENT OF A LOT MORE HOMES AROUND THE GOLF
DUMP, PROBABLY AROUND 50 HOMES,
4. PLEASANTON WANTS TO ALLOW CONTROLLED BURNING
NEXT TO THE GOLF DUMP AND CONTROLLED GRAZING IN
OTHER AREAS NEXT TO THE GOLF DUMP ALL ADDING MORE
It NITRATES AND CHEMICALS TO OUR CLOSED AQUIFER.
..._---"
