<br /> i;Ct.:'~;l A- <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 05- <br />RESOLUTION SETTING COMPENSATION FOR MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL <br /> EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, compensation for the City's management and confidential employees, <br /> except the City Manager and City Attorney, is set forth in the City's <br /> Management Compensation Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the current Management Compensation Plan expired on August 31, <br /> 2005; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to <br /> In crease the salary control points for each management and <br /> confidential classification to allow for performance-based salary <br /> increases not to exceed a pool equal to 3.5% of management <br /> compensation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Authorize the City Manager to execute the 2005 Management Compensation <br /> Plan. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED <br />BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON <br />NOVEMBER 15, 2005 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />05:290 4 1 <br />
