<br />Property tax revenues are the single largest revenue source for the City, and accounted for <br />45.9% of total FY05 General Fund revenues. These revenues came in about $200,000 under <br />projections, about a half percent variance. The table below shows a ten-year history of property <br />tax revenue. Note that the increase in FYOO reflects both significant increases in assessed values <br />as well as assumption of library services by the City from the County. Fiscal Year 05 marks the <br />first year the City began receiving "Property Taxes in Lieu of Vehicle License Fees (VLF)".
