SECTION IV
CONCLUSION
FISCAL IMPACT
The fiscal impact of Council adopting staff recommendations has been described in detail in this
report. The result of Council taking these actions regarding the Operating Budget will be to
establish reserves for the purpose of funding future obligations and providing a level of comfort
for economic uncertainty.
For the CIP, the recommended actions will facilitate the completion of budgeted projects. There
is no significant fiscal impact beyond what has already been approved by the City Council when
the CIP budget was adopted. As was noted with the adoption of the CIP, there will be future
maintenance costs associated with the construction of the additional/expanded facilities and
infrastructure included, as outlined in the original Capital Improvement Program documents.
Respectfully submitted,
~~.
Susan Rossi Nelson Fialho
Director of Finance City Manager
SR 05:300 2\
