Provide direction regarding establishing a policy that identifies <br /> criteria for prioritizing future Parks and Miscellaneous Capital <br /> Improvement Projects. <br /> 2. Authorize staff modify the practice of establishing multiple CIP <br /> reserve projects in favor of establishing one Capital Improvement <br /> Reserve account that would be used consistent with a Capital <br /> Improvement Program priority policy. <br />SUMMARY Every two years the City Council adopts a four year Capital Improvement <br /> Program to assure that infrastructure and capital improvement needs are <br /> adequately addressed. This report provides information regarding <br /> establishing policy for determining project funding for parks and <br /> miscellaneous projects that generally include facilities and park <br /> development. <br />Honorable Mayor and Members ofthe City Council: <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is prepared every two years to provide the City <br />Council and the community with information necessary to determine capital improvement needs <br />over the next four years.
