from Harvest Park Middle School, one (1) Pleasanton Middle School, one (1) student <br />from Thomas S. Hart Middle School, one (I) student from Village High School, four (4) <br />at large-student-representatives from grades 8-12 and one (1) adult commissioner shall be <br />selected from the community-at-large. <br /> <br />C. The two (2) alternate youth representatives shall be fi, om grades 8-12 and shall be <br />selected from the community-at-large. The one (I) adult conumss~oner shall be selected <br />from the community at large. <br /> <br />D. The regular commissioners and the alternate commissioners shall be appoimed by <br />the Mayor subject to ratification by the City Council, as provided in the adopted City. <br />resolution establishing procedures for appoinlments to boards and commissions. <br /> <br />E. Commissioners shall be eligible to participate in all activities of the commission <br />except that the altemate commissioner shall vote only in the event of an absence or <br />contlict of interest of one of the regular youth commissioners. <br /> <br />F. The alternate commissioners may serve as a voting member on any subcommittee <br />of the commission. <br /> <br />2.29.040 Term of Membership: <br />A. Regular Youth Commissioner shall be eligible to serve a maximum of four years <br />with two terms of two (2) year terms. <br /> <br />B. The regular Adult Commissioner shall be eligible to serVe a maximum term of <br />eight years with two four (4) year terms. <br /> <br />C. The alternate youth commissioners shall be eligible to s~rve two-year terms,and <br />are eot subject to a limit in the number of years served approveql that their grade level <br />d~o~.not exceed the twelfth grade. The alternate adult member~hall be eligible to serve <br />four year terms and are not subject to the limit in the number o~years served. <br /> <br />D. The term of a commissioner shall be consistent with and subject to City Council <br />resolution concerning limiting service on boards and commissions. <br /> <br />2.29.050 Maintenance of Membership: <br />A. Persons appointed to the commission shall continue to serve as members of the <br />commission except when: <br /> <br />1. The commissioner's term of office on the Commission expires: <br />2. The commissioner voluntarily resigns from the Commission; <br />3. The commissioner is absent from one-third (1/3) of~he regular meetings <br />within a six (6) month period as provided in section "C" below. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
