CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1834 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF CENTEX <br />HOMES FOR PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PUD-06 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Centex Homes has applied for PUD development plan approval to allow the <br />construction of 44 single-family detached units within two "medium density" <br />vineyard village areas totaling 18 acres; three vineyard estates lots with associated <br />vineyards and open space totaling 35.5 acres; a day care center on 1.1 acres; a <br />remnant quarry/agricultural parcel on appreximately 8 acres; and associated roads, <br />trails, and other infrastructure located at 1887 Vineyard Avenuye and two lots <br />easterly of it (APN 946-1350-11 and APN 950-0006-3-1); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-MDR/OS/Vineyard (Planned Unit Development - <br /> Medium Density Residential/Open Space/Vineyard) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this action is covered by the Environmental Impact Report prepared for the <br /> Vineyard Avenue Corridor Specific Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 14, 2001, the Planning Commission recommended <br /> approval of the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on June 5, 2001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the PUD development plan meets all applicable <br />requirements of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, the Vineyard Corridor Specific <br />Plan, and the General Plan. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves Case PUD-06, the application of Centex Homes for PUD development <br />plan approval to allow the construction of 44 single-family detached units within <br />two "medium density" vineyard village areas totaling 18 acres; three vineyard <br />estate lots with associated vineyards and open space totaling 35.5 acres; a day care <br />center on 1.1 acres; a remnant quarry/agriculttual parcel on approximately 8 acres; <br />and associated roads, trails, and other infrastructure located at 1887 Vineyard <br />Avenue and two lots easterly of it (APN 946-1350-11 and APN 950-0006-3-1), <br />subject to the conditions shown on "Exhibit B," attached hereto and incoq~orated <br />herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
