CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1832 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF CENTEX <br />HOMES FOR PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PUD.-05 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Centex Homes has applied for PUD development plan approval to allow: the <br />construction of 19 single-family, detached homes within a 14.9-acre "low density <br />residential" portion of the site; up to four second units constructed above detached <br />garages on one model; relocation of the caretaker unit to the "open space" <br />designated area of the Berlogar lot; and creation of the "hillside residential" <br />regulations for the Chrisman and Berlogar existing home sites located at 1944 and <br />2190 Vineyard Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this action is covered by the Environmental Impact Report prepared for the <br /> Vineyard Avenue Corridor Specific Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 9, 2001, the Planning Commission recommended approval <br /> of the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on June 5, 2001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council fmds that the PUD development plan meets all applicable <br />requirements of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, the Vineyard Corridor Specific <br />Plan, and the General Plan. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves Case PUD-05, the application of Centex Homes for PUD development <br />plan approval to allow the construction of 19 single-family, detached homes <br />within a 14.9-acre "low density residential" portion of the site; up to four second <br />units constructed above detached garages on one model; relocation of the <br />caretaker unit to the "open space" designated area of the Berlogar lot; and creation <br />of the "hillside residential" regulations for the Chrisman and Berlogar existing <br />home sites located at 1944 and 2190 Vineyard Avenue, subject to the conditions <br />shown on "Exhibit B," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> <br />
