CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1835 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF <br />THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT <br />SYSTEM <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />That an amendment to the contract between the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton and the Board of Administration of the California Public Employees' <br />Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said amendment being attached <br />hereto and by such reference made a part hereof as though herein set out in full. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The Mayor of the City of Pleasanton is hereby authorized to execute said <br />amendment for and on behalf of said agency. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after <br />its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published <br />in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen <br />(15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> <br />Section 4: <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage <br />and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
