Engineer or Building Inspector and shall be shown on the approved grading plan. <br /> <br />93. <br /> <br />The applicants shall investigate photovoltaic panels and other alternative power <br />generation means which shall be designed to carry some of the energy load for the <br />building. The applicants shall include building modifications to accommodate <br />photovoltalc panels at a minimum, and, if found to be feasible by the Planning <br />Director, shall install photovoltaic panels or other alternative power generation <br />means with the construction of the building. <br /> <br />94. <br /> <br />The applicants shall install a designated outdoor smoking area with seating for the <br />office building. The applicants shall locate the smoking area an adequate distance <br />fi.om entry doors to insure that smoke does not enter the building. Furthermore, <br />the applicants shall attempt to locate the smoking area away from the surrounding <br />residences. The final design of the smoking area shall be shown on the plans <br />submitted for issuance of building permits and shall be subject to the review and <br />approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of building permits for the <br />project. <br /> <br />95. <br /> <br />The applicants shall work with the developers of the Kaiser Aluminum and <br />Chemical Corporation property at 6177 Sunol Boulevard to participate in a <br />transportation systems management plan to reduce vehicular traffic. <br /> <br />96. <br /> <br />The applicants shall remove and replace the existing 6 foot high chain link fencing <br />along the southern property line with a new 4 foot tall wrought iron style fence. <br />The new fence shall be installed within the southern street side landscaped area <br />beginning at the easterly property line and ending approximately 10 to 15 feet back <br />from Sunol Boulevard. The final location and design of the fence shall be subject <br />to review and approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of building <br />permits. The fence shall be installed prior to occupancy of the office building. <br />The applicants shall maintain and repaint the fence, as necessary, to keep it in good <br />condition. <br /> <br />97. <br /> <br />The applicants shall install a 30 inch tall wrought iron style fence along the <br />Gudaltis' eastern property line between the northern end of the new 6 foot tall <br />masonry wall and the fi.om property line. The fence and support post locations <br />shall be adjusted as necessary to reduce impacts on the existing redwood and oak <br />trees near the eastern property line. The final location and design of the fence shall <br />be subject to review and approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of <br />building permits. The fence shall be installed prior to occupancy of the office <br />building. <br /> <br /> <br />
