CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1820 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO <br />THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE BOARD OF <br />ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC <br />EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />That an amendment to the contract between the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton and the Board of Administration of the California Public Employees' <br />Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said amendment being attached <br />hereto, marked Exhibit, and by such reference made a par~ hereof as though herein <br />set out in full. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The Mayor of the City of Pleasanton is hereby authorized to execute said <br />amendment for and on behalf of said agency. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after <br />its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published <br />in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen <br />(15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage <br />and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on <br />December 5, 2000. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on January 9, 2001 <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br /> <br />
