<br />/' <br /> <br /> <br />4J <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />pLEASANTONc <br /> <br />City Council <br />Staff Report <br /> <br />October 4, 2005 <br />Public Works Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR ANNUAL <br />TRAFFIC BUTTONS AND LINE MARKERS INSTALLATION, <br />PROJECT NO. 035007 <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council take the following actions at the <br />meeting of October 4,2005: <br /> <br />1. Accept the improvements for the subject project. <br /> <br />2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the <br />subject project. <br /> <br />3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $7,609.43 to <br />Chrisp Company thirty days after fIling the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />SUMMARY: <br /> <br />Construction of the subject project is complete and is ready for <br />acceptance. <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council: <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />On June 7, 2005 the City Council awarded the contract to the lowest bidder, Chrisp Company <br />of Fremont.
