94. <br /> <br />95. <br /> <br />96. <br /> <br />97. <br /> <br />l'he project developer shall iacludc crosion controlJstorm water quality measures on the <br />final grading plan, which shall specifically address measures to prevent soil, dirt, and de- <br />bris from entering the storm drain system. Such measures may include, but are not lim- <br />ited to, hydroseeding, hay bales, sandbags, and siltation fences and are subject to the re- <br />view ,and approval of the City Engineer/Director of Building Inspection. If no grading <br />plan is required, necessa~.' erosion control/storm water quality measures shall be shown <br />on the site plan submitted for an on-site permit, subject to the review and approval of the <br />Director of Building Inspection. The project developer is responsible for ensuring that <br />the contractor is aware of and implements such measures. <br /> <br />Ail cut and fill slopes shall be revegetated and stabilized after completion of grading, but <br />in no case later than October 15. Hydroseeding shall be accomplished before September <br />15 and irrigated with a tcmporaxy irrigation system to ensure that the grasses axe estab- <br />lished before October 15. No grading shall occur between October 15 and April 15 un- <br />less approved erosion comrol/storm water quality measures are in place, subject to the <br />approval of the City Engineer/Director of Building Inspection. Such measures shall be <br />maintained until such time as permanent landscaping is place. <br /> <br />The project developer shall submit a construction Best Management Practices (BMP's) <br />program for review and approval by thc Planning Director prior to issuance of building <br />and/or grading permits. These BMP's shall be implemented by the general contractor <br />and all subcontractors and suppliers of materials and equipment. Construction site <br />cleanup and control of construction debris shall also be addressed. Failure to comply <br />with the approved construction BMP may result in the issuance of correction notices, ci- <br />tations, or a stop work order. <br /> <br />The project developer is responsible for implementing the following measures during all <br />construction phases of the project: <br /> <br />Gather all construction debris on a regular basis and place it in a dumpster or other <br />container which is emptied or removed an a weekly basis. When appropriate, use <br />tarps on the ground to collect fallen debris or splatters that could contribute to storm <br />water runoff pollution. <br /> <br />Remove all dirt, gravel, rubbish, refuse, and green waste Ii'om the street pavement <br />and storm drains adjoining the site. Limit construction access routes onto the site <br />and place gravel on them. Do not drive vehicles and equipment offpaved or grav- <br />eled areas during wet weather. Broom sweep the street pavement adjoining the proj- <br />ect site on a daily basis. Scrape caked-on mud and dirt from these areas before <br />sweeping. <br /> <br />Page 16 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
