Authorize the City Manager to execute a geographic information system <br /> (GIS) data sharing license agreement with the Hacienda Business Park Owners <br /> Association ("HBPOA") to provide the HBPOA and its consultants, who have <br /> been approved by the City, use of the City's GIS data to support planning, <br /> development and improvement projects by the HBPOA in the Hacienda Business <br /> Park. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute non-disclosure and GIS data <br /> protection agreements with HBPOA's approved consultants. <br />SUMMARY: The City maintains digital GIS city limit data and parcel, water, storm and sanitary <br /> sewer maps ("GIS data") relating to Pleasanton. The HBPOA has requested the use <br /> of the City's GIS data to support its planning, development and improvement <br /> projects within Pleasanton. The license agreement and non-disclosure agreement <br /> attached provide the HBPOA and its consultants, who have been approved by the <br /> City, access to the City's GIS data that relates to the Hacienda Business Park. In <br /> return for sharing the GIS data with the HBPOA, the City will receive digital data <br /> for new, existing and proposed facilities and improvements within the Hacienda <br /> Business Park as well as reports, plans, drawings, maps and other items created by <br /> the HBPOA and its consultants. <br />Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council: <br />DISCUSSION <br />The City of Pleasanton has developed GIS data relating to parcel maps, water, storm and sanitary sewer <br />maps, city limits and other features. The City has developed this data for its own use to facilitate <br />planning and management of the City's infrastructure.
