<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 0)-, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2005.06 and 2006.07 <br />OPERATING BUDGETS FOR THE CALLIPPE PRESEVE GOLF <br />COURSE AND THE GOLF COURSE ENTERPRISE FINANCIAL <br />POLICIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Callippe Preserve Golf Course and Open Space project is scheduled for public <br />opening the week of November 7,200); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff is presenting the attached operating budget for the golf course that will cover <br />the remaining seven months in FY06 and all ofFY07; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff is recommending the adoption of interim financial goals that are intended to <br />minimize impacts on the General Fund and other CIP projects during the period in <br />which the General Fund will need to contribute towards debt service; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, for the longer term, staff is recommending the adoption of financial policies that <br />seek to ensure financial independence and sustainability for the golf course <br />operation. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOL YES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Adopt the attached FY06 and FY07 operating budgets for Callippe Preserve Golf <br />Course. <br /> <br />Section 2: Adopt the attached Golf Course Enterprise financial policies for Callippe Preserve <br />Golf Course, <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption, <br />
