CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1795 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE CONDITIONALLY APPROVING THE <br /> APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR PUD <br /> DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER <br /> CASE PUD-98-16 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for development plan approval for a municipal <br /> golf course, club house and related facilities, and a maximum of 34 additional <br /> home sites plus three sites for the existing property owners on 345.8+ acres of land <br /> generally located southeast of the Happy Valley/Alisal Road intersection; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is prezoned PUD (Planned Unit Development) - GC (Golf <br /> Course)/LDR (Low Density Residential)/A/OS (Agricultural/Open Space) District; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 23, 1999, the Planning Commission recommended approval <br /> of the PUD development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the project is within the Happy Valley Specific Plan area for which the City <br /> Council has previously approved an Environmental Impact Report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public heating was held on October 19, 1999; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed PUD development plan is consistent with <br /> the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton and the Happy Valley Specific <br /> Plan. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the development plan for a municipal golf course, club house and related <br /> facilities, and a maximum of 34 additional home sites plus three sites for the <br /> existing property owners on 345.8+ acres of land generally located southeast of the <br /> Happy Valley/Alisal Road intersection, subject to the conditions shown on <br /> "Exhibit B", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
