ORDINANCE NO. 92 <br />An Ordinance Prohibiting the Keeping and Storing of <br />Materials Commonly Known as Junk within the Cor- <br />porate Limit~ of the Town of Pleasanton. <br /> The Board of T~'ustees of the To~vn of Pleasarxt~H~ <br />does ordain as follows: <br /> Section 1. No person. firm, company or corpora- <br />tion buying, selling or otherwise, rags, bottles, sacks, <br />hides, old iron, tin, bones, cans or other materials :.om- <br />monly termed as junk shall keep or cause to be kept, <br />stored or otherwise on any premises within the cor- <br />porate limits of the Town of Pleasanton any such rags, <br />bottles, sa:-'ks, hides, old iron, tin bones, cans or other <br />materials. <br /> Sec. 2. Any person, firm, corporation or company <br />violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance sitall <br />be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon a plea of guilty <br />or a conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not <br />exceeding the sum of One Hundrecl Dollars ($!~)0.00) <br />or by imprisonment in the Town jail in th? Town of <br />Pleasanton not exceeding fifty (50) days, or by both <br />such fine or punishment, and judgment that the defend- <br />ant pay a fine shall also direct that the defenda:~t be <br />imprisoned until such fine is satisfied in the propor- <br />tion bf one (1) day's imprisonment for every $2.00 <br />of the fine so imposed. <br /> Sec. 3. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances <br />conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> Sec. 4. This Ordinance shall be published in the <br />Pleasanton Times and shall take effect immediately <br />after its publication. <br /> Introduced, read and referred to the Ordinance <br />and Judiciary Committee on the 3rd day of Febru,qry, <br />1913, and reported back, and on motion of Trustee <br />Reimers, seconded by Trustee Priest, was adopted and <br />passed on the 3rd day of March A.
