CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA ORDINANCE NO. 1921 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING TIlE APPLICATION OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-46 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has filed an application for PUD development plan approval for Phase One of the Bernal Community Park sports fields on an approximately 13-acre site located south of Bemal Avenue, east of Valley Avenue, and west of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks; and WHEREAS, the City Council determined that there were no changes to the environmental circumstances and impacts from the time that it certified the Environmental Impact Report for the San Francisco Water Department Bernal Property on August 28, 2000 that would affect the environmental document; and WHEREAS, the Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of development plan; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 19, 2005; and WHEREAS, after a review of the materials presented, the City Council made the PUD finding listed in the staff report and finds that the development plan and site development standards are consistent with the General Plan, the San Francisco Water Department Bemal Property Phase One Specific Plan, and the purposes of the PUD ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves Case PUD-46, the application of the City of Pleasanton for PUD development plan approval for Phase One of the Bernal Community Park sports fields on an approximately 13-acre site located south of Bernal Avenue, east of Valley Avenue, and west of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks, subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit B, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
