The Livermore Pleasanton Fire DeparUnem, Pleasanton Police Department, AMR Ambulance <br />and Wheels Bus were all asked to evaluate the speed lumps after they had been installed for <br />several months. The Livermore Pleasanton Fire Departmem conducted before and after speed <br />runs on Crellin Road and did not experience any delay. The Police Departmem had no <br />concerns regarding the speed lump's safety, and AMR and Wheels both commented that the <br />installation of speed lumps had no impact on their routes. Collision records were checked for <br />Crellin Road, Arbor Drive, Rhine Way, Touriga Drive, and Momevino Drive. There has not <br />been any change in collision patterns in this neighborhood. <br /> <br />In order to judge resident satisfaction with the speed lumps, staff first contacted the Crellin <br />Road Traffic Calming Steering Committee to receive their commems and concerns regarding <br />the installation. The feedback from the Steering Committee was very positive, with members <br />identifying a noticeable change in vehicle speed. In addition to this feedback, staff mailed <br />after study questionnaires to the surrounding residents.
