'~he ~!r,~u'd uf Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton do or dais as follo~v3: Section 1. No person shall indecently expose his or her person upon any street, sidewalk, or place within the Town, cr make or use within the Town any vulgar, obscene or offensive language, gesture~ or epithets, or sing ,any lewd or obscene songs. Any person violating any of the provisions of this sec- tion shall, upon conviction or a plea of guilty thereof, F, uv-,.'d~ed by a fine o~ not less than Five ($5.00) nor rl.ore than One Hnndred Dollars ($100.00), or by im- p:]sonn~ent t].qt to exceed thirty days, or by both such P,n,~ snd'mi;ris<lnrnent. Sec. 2. No person or persons shall keep, or be pro- prietors or preprietresses, within the corporate limits c.f the Town of Pleasanton, el' any dance house, or house of ill-fame resorted to for the purpose of prostitution or h-,v,-dnes3 or be the inmate oS, or frequent houses el that c.haracter. Any person who rents o.r leases to another any build- ing, house cr place, knowing that the same is to be used for SHell purposes, or who permits the same to be used, after obtaining knob-ledge that they are used or kept as a dance house, house of i134ame, or resorted to for the purpose of prostitution or lewdness, is guilty of s. violation of Section 2 of this Ordinance and upon con- viction or a plea of guilty thereof, shall be Dunisbed by a fine of not less than twenty-£~ve dollars ($25.00) nor ~ore than One Hnndred Dollars ($100.00), or by im- prisonment not exceeding thirty days, or by both such fine or in-tprisonment.
