CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1919 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AMENDING <br /> CHAPTER 7.04 (GENERAL PROVISIONS), <br /> CHAPTER 7.08 (ANIMAL NUISANCES), <br /> CHAPTER 7.12 (DOG LICENSES), <br /> CHAPTER 7.16 (DOGS AT LARGE), <br /> CHAPTER 7.24 (IMPOUNDING OF ANIMALS), <br /> CHAPTER 7.28 (LICENSING AND IMPOUNDING FEES), <br /> CHAPTER 7.32 (RABIES), <br /> CHAPTER 7.36 (MISCELLANEOUS ANIMAL REGULATIONS), <br /> AND CHAPTER 13.08 (PARKS AND RECREATION FACILITIES) <br /> OF THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Chapter 7.04 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code shall be amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br />"Chapter 7.04 General Provisions <br /> <br /> 7.04.010 Title: This Title shall be known as Animal Control. <br /> <br /> 7.04.020 Definitions: <br /> For the purpose of this Title, unless it is plainly evident from the context that a different <br /> meaning is intended, certain terms used in this Title are defined as follows: <br /> <br /> A. "Animal" means any mammal including, but not limited to, horse, cow, goat, sheep, dog <br /> and cat. <br /> <br /> B. "Animal control agency" means the Police Department of the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
