CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 05-056 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-46 WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 19, 2005, the City Council considered a proposed negative declaration for the application of the City of Pleasanton for PUD development plan approval for Phase One of the Bernal Community Park sports fields on an approximately 13-acre site located south of Bernal Avenue, east of Valley Avenue, and west of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks; and WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated June 1, 2005, and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public heating was held on July 19, 2005, at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project; and WHEREAS the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS the City Council finds that the proposed project would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; and WHEREAS the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the Negative Declaration for the application of the City of Pleasanton for PUD development plan approval for Phase One of the Bemal Community Park sports fields on an approximately 13-acre site located south of Bernal Avenue, east of Valley Avenue, and west of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks Section 2. The City Council finds that the proposed project will have a de minimus impact on the site's wildlife.
