NEAL, Town Clerk. <br /> sa.tion. <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of tho Town of Pleasanton Do <br /> Ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Ttxo Superintendent of Streets of the Town <br /> <br /> of Pleasanton sD. all hold his oflce only during the~lpleas- <br /> ure of the Board of Trustees; and subject to and und,er <br /> their supervisionTand orders. <br /> <br /> Sec. 2. He shall execute an official bond in the penal <br /> sun~ of Two Hundred Dollars, lawful money of Lhe United <br /> States, conditioned for the performance of all duties re- <br /> quired of hin~ by law, during has incumbence in said o.fl <br /> [ice and si~a:l tsithfully discharge all duties which may <br /> be required of him by any laxv enacted subsequently to <br /> the execution of such bond. <br /> <br /> See. 3.--Eepealed by Ordiuance No. 133. <br /> <br /> See. 4. The .qnties of the Superintendent of Streets, in <br /> addition to +hose prseribed by an Act entitled "An Act <br /> to Provi~e for x, Vork Upon Streets, Lanes, Alleys, Courts, <br /> Places and Side~valks, and for the construction of sewers <br /> ~,Vithin Municipalities" (approved March 18th, 1885,) <br /> and all subsequent thereto, and amendatory thereof, <br /> shall be as follows: to?wit: <br /> <br /> It shall be his duty to see that the laws, orders and <br /> regulations relati:;g to the public streets ?and highways <br /> are fully carried into execution; and the penalties are <br /> regularly enforced, and it shall be his duty' to especially <br /> look after, attend to, and superinteud the rer.~oval and <br /> planting of trees; to see that t;ll bridges, culverts and <br /> ditches are ke'Jt in ~rder and rel air; and to see tl:at no <br /> nuisances are maintained on the ipuFlic highwys of the <br /> Town, and it shall also be his duzy to make a monthly <br /> report to the board of all his transactions or proceedings <br /> before r3eeiving his salary. <br /> See. 5.
