DRAFT <br /> CITY COUNCIL CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF CHARLES SCItWAB <br />& COMPANY, INC. FOR A PUD MAJOR MODIFICATION TO MODIFY THE <br />APPROVED DEVELOPMENT PLAN AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-22-11M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Charles Schwab & Company, Inc. has applied to for a Planned Unit <br /> Development major modification to modify the approved development plan <br /> for 6180 Stoneridge Mall Road to demolish the existing 8,500-square-foot <br /> building and replace it with a new parking area and landscape strips; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for <br /> approval of the PUD major modification application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 19, 2005; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed PUD major modification is <br /> consistent with the General Plan and purposes of the PUD ordinance. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the Planned Unit Development major modification to modify <br /> the approved development plan for 6180 Stoneridge Mall Road to <br /> demolish the existing 8,500-square-foot building and replace it with a new <br /> parking area and landscape strips, subject to the conditions shown on <br /> Exhibit "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> Section 2. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br /> days after its adoption in "Valley Times," a newspaper of general <br /> circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete <br /> ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15 days) in the City Clerk's office <br /> within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
