CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 05- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br /> APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, FOR PUD DEVELOPMENT <br /> PLAN APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-46 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 19, 2005, the City Council approved a proposed negative <br /> declaration for the application of the City of Pleasanton for PUD development <br /> plan approval for Phase One of the Bernal Community Park sports fields on an <br /> approximately 13-acre site located south of Bernal Avenue, east of Valley <br /> Avenue, and west of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated June 1, 2005, and <br /> received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 19, 2005, at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the <br /> proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br /> applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council finds that the proposed project would not have any significant <br /> adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for <br /> adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Approves the Negative Declaration for the application of the City of Pleasanton <br /> for PUD development plan approval for Phase One of the Bernal Community Park <br /> sports fields on an approximately 13-acre site located south of Bernal Avenue, east <br /> of Valley Avenue, and west of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks <br /> <br /> Section 2. The City Council finds that the proposed project will have a de minimus impact on <br /> the site's wildlife. <br /> <br /> <br />
