<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-94-48 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />UIIIISOURCE/ALCO STANDARD CORPORATION FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />APPROVAL AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-30-56D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Unisource/Alco Standard corporation has applied for <br />development plan approval to construct a 535,000 square <br />foot, single-story regional headquarters and warehouse <br />distribution facility at 4225 Hacienda Drive (Lot lOB and <br />a portion of Lot lOA in the Hacienda Business Park); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />- Industrial/Commercial-office District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of August 31, 1994, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project is within the scope of previous <br />environmental review completed for projects within the <br />Hacienda Business Park; therefore, no environmental <br />document was prepared for this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission determined that the aspects of <br />the design of the structure, landscaping, and parking and <br />loading areas are generally consistent with the <br />requirements of the Hacienda Business Park Design <br />Guidelines; and that the design issues have been <br />successfully addressed and the result is a project which <br />would both meet the operational objectives of the <br />unisource Corporation and provide an attractive addition <br />to the Hacienda Business Park. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-81-30-56D, the <br />application of Unisource/Alco standard Corporation for <br />development plan approval to construct a 535,000 square <br />foot, single-story regional headquarters and warehouse <br />distribution facility at 4225 Hacienda Drive (Lot lOB and <br />a portion of Lot lOA in the Hacienda Business Park), <br />subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "B" attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2.
