PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-94-44 RESOLUTION RECOHMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE GP-94-01, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CLARIFY TRAFFIC STUDY REQUIREMENTS AS THEY RELATE TO SITE SPECIFIC TRAFFIC STUDIES FOR MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS WHICH HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO EXCEED THE LEVEL OF SERVICE (LOS) DESIGNATION OF "0" AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-94-01 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has initiated a General Plan Amendment to clarify traffic study requirements as they relate to site specific traffic studies for major developments which have the potential to exceed the Level of Service (LOS) designation of "D"; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 31, 1994, the commission recommended approval of the proposed declaration prepared for Case GP-94-01; and Planning negative WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing on August 31, 1994, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, the Planning commission finds that the proposed clarification will provide the specific Circulation Element text clarification to support the original interpretation of the existing General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of Case GP-94-01, the application of the City of Pleasanton for a General Plan Amendment to clarify traffic study requirements as they relate to site specific traffic studies for major developments which have the potential to exceed the Level of Service (LOS) designation of "D," as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. II II
