<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-94-43 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR A GENERAL <br />PLAN AMENDMENT TO CLARIFY TRAFFIC STUDY REQUIREMENTS AS THEY <br />RELATE TO SITE SPECIFIC TRAFFIC STUDIES FOR MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS <br />WHICH HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO EXCEED THE LEVEL OF SERVICE (LOS) <br />DESIGNATION OF "D" AS FILED tINDER CASE GP-94-01 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has initiated a General Plan <br />Amendment to clarify traffic study requirements as they <br />relate to site specific traffic studies for major <br />developments which have the potential to exceed the Level <br />of Service (LOS) designation of "D"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of <br />Commission received <br />Case GP-94-01; and <br /> <br />August 31, 1994, the Planning <br />a proposed negative declaration for <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning commission has received <br />Initial study dated July 29, 1994, <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br /> <br />and reviewed the <br />and received the <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning commission finds <br />proposed project would not have <br />effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />that approval of the <br />any significant adverse <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission further finds that the proposed <br />project would not have any adverse impacts on the site's <br />wildlife. <br /> <br />II II <br />
