<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-94-39 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO <br />MEASURE "X" (THE APPROVED DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE PLEASANT <br />VILLAGE SHOPPING CENTER) TO ALLOW DRIVE-IN AND TAKE-OUT <br />ESTABLISHMENTS AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-80-1S-SD-4M, THE <br />APPLICATION OF CAFFINO, INCORPORATED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Caffino, Incorporated has applied for a major <br />modification to Measure "X" - the approved development <br />plan for Pleasant Village Shopping Center to allow <br />drive-in and take-out establishments at 6700 Santa Rita <br />Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 27, 1994, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, applications of this nature are categorically exempt <br />from the requirements of the California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed <br />major modification was not appropriate for the site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends denial of Case PUD-80-l5-5D-4M, the <br />application of Caffino, Incorporated for a major <br />modification to Measure "X" - the approved development <br />plan for Pleasant Village Shopping Center to allow <br />drive-in and take-out establishments at 6700 Santa Rita <br />Road. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />" <br />
