8. The approved building materials and colors shall be stated on the building permit <br /> plans to the satisfaction of the Planning Director. Substitutions shall not be <br /> allowed unless otherwise approved by the Planning Director. <br /> <br /> 9. All site improvements and house construction activities shall be limited to the <br /> hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. All construction <br /> equipment must meet Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) noise standards and <br /> shall be equipped with muffling devices. <br /> <br />Building Conditions <br /> <br /> 10. Prior to building permit submittal: <br /> a. A list of the green building measures used in the design of the home <br /> covered by this approval shall be provided to the Planning Department for <br /> the review and approval by the Planning Director. The home covered by <br /> this approval shall be designed to achieve a minimum of 50 points using the <br /> ACWMA's Green Points rating system. The proposed project shall be a <br /> "green home" with a minimum of 10 points in each category (Resources, <br /> Energy, and IAQ/Health). <br /> <br /> b. The green building measures shall be shown on one of the first two pages <br /> of the plans submitted for issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br /> c. The project developer shall submit a separate application for the review of <br /> the proposed arbor element at the time the applicant wishes to construct it <br /> or provide adequate details in the house plan set prior to building permit <br /> submittal. <br /> <br /> d. The project developer shall submit a tree report: <br /> I. The tree report must identify all existing trees according to diameter, <br /> condition, and value. <br /> <br /> II. The report must assess the proposed surface improvements within all <br /> the tree driplines, identify appropriate tree trimming practices, and <br /> must provide any construction measures needed to ensure the <br /> longevity and health of the existing trees. Tree trimming shall be done <br /> in compliance with condition number 26. <br /> <br /> III. The City's Landscape Architect shall review and approve the tree <br /> report and landscape plan. Once the tree report is approved, the <br /> applicant shall to print the report's recommendations on the <br /> specification, site plan, and landscape plan pages of the building <br /> permit plan set. <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
