CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 05-036 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS, LIGHTING <br /> AND LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1995-1, MOLLER RANCH <br /> (PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Lighting and Landscape <br /> Assessment District No. 1995-1, Moiler Ranch during fiscal year 2005-06. The area of <br /> land to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> <br />Section 2. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> The maintenance and repair of designated landscaped areas, open space slopes, fuel <br /> transition zones (fire breaks), entry features, open space drainage ditches, irrigation <br /> systems, trees in the open space and designated landscaped areas, and the furnishing of <br /> water and power for irrigation systems, together with all appurtenances and incidental <br /> expenses within Tract 6618, City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3. In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, Philip <br /> A. Grubstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the report required by the <br /> Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report <br /> for a full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessments <br /> upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. <br /> <br />Section 4. On Tuesday, the 21st day of June 2005, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City Council will <br /> conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual assessment. <br /> The hearing will be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bemal Avenue, <br /> Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br /> Section 5. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by the <br /> Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. <br /> <br /> Section 6. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
