CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 05-034 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS, LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1994-1, OAK TREE FARM (PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Landscape and Lighting Assessment District No. 1994-1, Oak Tree Farm during fiscal year 2005-06. The area of land to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. Section 2. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as follows: The maintenance and repair of designated landscaped areas, open space slopes, fuel transition zones (fire breaks), entry features, open space drainage ditches, irrigation systems, trees in the open space and designated landscaped areas, and the furnishing of water and power for irrigation systems, together with all appurtenant and incidental expenses within Tract 6563 and 6748, and parcels B and C of Parcel Map 6259, City of Pleasanton. Section 3. In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, Philip A. Grubstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the report required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. Ail interested persons are referred to that report for a full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. Section 4. On Tuesday, the 21st day of June 2005, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City Council will conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual assessment. The hearing will be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. Section 5. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. Section 6. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
