<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-95-67 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF NEW CITIES DEVELOPMENT <br />GROUP, TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />GPA-95-01 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, New cities Development Group has submitted an application <br />to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General <br />Plan from "Community Facilities - School" to "Medium <br />Density Residential" for an approximately 7.57 acre <br />parcel located at 5701 Black Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 27, 1995, the Planning <br />commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case GPA-95-01; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated August 18, 1995, and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the planning Commission finds that approval of the <br />proposed amendment to the Land Use Element designation of <br />the General Plan would not have any significant adverse <br />effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case GPA-95-01, the application of New <br />cities Development Group to amend the Land Use Element <br />designation of the General Plan from "community <br />Facilities - School" to "Medium Density Residential" for <br />an approximately 7.57 acre parcel located at 5701 Black <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />- <br />
