PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-95-67 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF NEW CITIES DEVELOPMENT GROUP, TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE GPA-95-01 WHEREAS, New cities Development Group has submitted an application to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan from "Community Facilities - School" to "Medium Density Residential" for an approximately 7.57 acre parcel located at 5701 Black Avenue; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 27, 1995, the Planning commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case GPA-95-01; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated August 18, 1995, and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed amendment to the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case GPA-95-01, the application of New cities Development Group to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan from "community Facilities - School" to "Medium Density Residential" for an approximately 7.57 acre parcel located at 5701 Black Avenue. section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. -
