The plan conforms to the purposes of the PUD <br />District: <br /> <br />The proposed project implements the purposes of the <br />PUD Ordinance by providing a mixed-income rental <br />project that is imaginative in its design and <br />si ting on the subj ect property, that assists the <br />City in meeting its share of regional housing goals <br />for the provision of housing for low- and very-low <br />income households, that fulfills the desires of the <br />applicant, and that meets the City's General Plan <br />goals and policies. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed PUD <br />rezoning is consistent with the General Plan and that the <br />project, as conditioned, is appropriate for the site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-94-01, the <br />application of A.F. Evans Company for rezoning to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) HDR (High Density <br />Residential) District and development plan approval to <br />allow a 146-unit apartment development, with units <br />available for market-rate, low-, and very-low income <br />households on a 7.4 acre site located at 5300 Case <br />Avenue, subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "B" <br />attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2.
