<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-91-98 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR A GENERAL <br />PLAN AMENDMENT AND PRE ZONING AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-91-8 AND <br />CASE RZ-91-7 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Pleasanton has applied to expand the <br />Pleasanton Sphere-of-Influence and to amend and expand <br />the Pleasanton General Plan Land Use Map to conform to <br />the uses recently approved by Alameda county for the <br />1,603-acre Ruby Hill area (including the Topham and <br />Kalthoff agricultural parcels) located south of Vineyard <br />Avenue along both sides of Vallecitos Road; and to <br />prezone the 1,603-acre Ruby Hill area to a Planned Unit <br />Development district to match the uses that were recently <br />approved by Alameda county; and to prezone the more than <br />350-acre vineyard Avenue Corridor area located in the <br />vicinity of Vineyard Avenue east of Montevino Drive to a <br />Planned Unit Development district to match the uses <br />currently designated by the Pleasanton General Plan <br />(Rural Density Residential, Low Density Residential, <br />Parks and Recreation, Agriculture and Grazing, public <br />Health and Safety, and Sand and Gravel Harvesting); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 20, 1991, the planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case GP-91-8 and RZ-91-7; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the planning commission has received and reviewed <br />Revised Initial Study dated October 25, 1991, <br />received the recommendations of the staff; and <br /> <br />the <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on <br />environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />the <br />the <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission finds <br />proposed project would not have <br />effects on the environment. <br /> <br />that approval of the <br />any significant adverse <br /> <br />- <br />
