<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-91-92 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT AND REZONING FOR THE APPLICATION OF ROBERTSON <br />HOMES/PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />GP-91-04/PUD-81-30-24M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Robertson Homes/Prudential Insurance Company has <br />applied to amend the Land Use Element designation of the <br />General Plan from Business Park (Industrial/commercial/ <br />Office) to High Density Residential and to rezone a 79- <br />acre site in the Hacienda Business Park bordered by <br />Tassajara Creek on the east, Hacienda Drive on the west, <br />and Owens and stoneridge Drives on the north and south; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of November 13, 1991, <br />the Planning commission recommended approval of a <br />proposed Negative Declaration for Case GP-91-04/PUD-81- <br />30-24M/PUD-81-30-53D after considering all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />city staff concerning this proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed General <br />Plan Land Use amendment is consistent with the goals and <br />policies of the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission finds that the proposed PUD <br />rezoning is consistent with the General Plan goals, <br />policies, and land use designation. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the application of Robertson <br />Homes/prudential Insurance Company to amend the Land Use <br />Element designation of the General Plan from Business <br />Park (Industrial/Commercial/ Office) to High Density <br />Residential and to rezone from PUD-I/C-O (Planned Unit <br />Development - Industrial/Commercial-Office) to PUD-HDR <br />(Planned Unit Development - High Density Residential) a <br />79-acre site in the Hacienda Business Park bordered by <br />Tassajara Creek on the east, Hacienda Drive on the west, <br />and Owens and stoneridge Drives on the north and south. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
