<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-91-81 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL <br />IMPACT REPORT, ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT MITIGATION <br />MONITORING PROGRAM, CEQA FINDINGS, AND STATEMENT OF <br />OVERRIDING CONSIDERATIONS PREPARED FOR THE NORTH <br />SYCAMORE GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT AND SPECIFIC PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is considering a General Plan <br />Amendment and Specific Plan for the 135 acre site <br />located generally north of Sycamore Road and east of <br />Sunol Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission of the city of Pleasanton <br />provided proper public notice of completion of the <br />Draft Environmental Impact Report for the North <br />Sycamore Specific Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Pleasanton has accepted and responded to <br />comments to the Draft Environmental Impact Report from <br />public agencies having jurisdiction by law, persons <br />having special expertise with respect to any <br />environmental impact involved, and other persons or <br />organizations having an interest in the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Final Environmental Impact Report has been prepared <br />and contains the Draft Environmental Impact Report, <br />comments and recommendations received on the Draft <br />Environmental Impact Report, and the responses of the <br />city of Pleasanton to significant environmental points <br />raised in the review and consultation process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has provided proper notice of <br />completion of the Final Environmental Impact Report for <br />the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the city of Pleasanton met <br />on November l3, 1991, and held a public hearing upon <br />the completeness and adequacy of the Final <br />Environmental Impact Report, the EIR Mitigation <br />Monitoring Program intended to implement the various <br />EIR mitigation measures; and the CEQA findings and <br />statement of overriding considerations for the <br />anticipated project impacts. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />
