<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-91-46 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE <br />FOLLOW-UP REPORT ON THE JOINT MEETING WITH CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a joint meeting of the City council, Planning Commission, <br />and Design Review Board was held on May 1, 1991, to <br />discuss the design review process, evaluate how the <br />process is functioning, and consider recommendations for <br />modifying it; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a report summarizing the direction on several matters <br />considered at the joint meeting was prepared; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of June 26, 1991, <br />the Planning Commission reviewed the report and made <br />recommendations regarding the report. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the review of the Follow-Up <br />Joint Meeting with city Council and <br />recomendations to the Follow-Up Report: <br /> <br />Report on the <br />the following <br /> <br />1. That five professionals be appointed to Design <br />Review Board, including a position that may be held <br />by a civil engineer or a licensed professional as <br />the fifth member, deleting the position of <br />alternate on the Design Review Board. This would <br />result in four professionals and one appointee. <br /> <br />2. That signs in the R-1-District be sent to Design <br />Review on a regular basis rather than approved by <br />staff. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />That work sessions <br />Review meetings and <br />according to the <br />Review Board. <br /> <br />should not be prior to Design <br />should be scheduled separately, <br />recommendation of the Design <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption <br />
