<br />APPROVED <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, July 13,1994 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The Planning Commission meeting of July 13, 1994, was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by <br />Chairman McGuirk. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> <br />1. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: <br /> <br />Jack Dove, Jack Hovingh, Harry Lutz, Bob Wright, and <br />Chairman McGuirk <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: <br /> <br />Debra Barker <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br /> <br />Brian Swift, Director of Planning; Roger Higdon, Assistant <br />Director of Public Works; Steven Bocian, Assistant City <br />Manager; and Terri Czapinski, Recording Secretary <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The draft Minutes of June 22, 1994, were approved with the following modification to Page <br />2, No. 6b., 2nd paragraph: <br />. Commissioner Dove feels the traffic flow pattern could be the source for many <br />accidents. <br /> <br />3. MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE ATIDTRNCE TO ADDRESS <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY <br />ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Albert Su, 6700 Santa Rita Road, of California Burger, addressed the Commission that he <br />had several pages of signatures on a petition opposing the approval of PUD-80-15-5D-4M1 <br />UP-94-10 (Espresso Express). He asked that the signatures be added to those previously <br />gathered and given to the City. He inquired about the City's conditional use permit approval <br />process, and Chairman McGuirk and Mr. Swift briefly outlined the Commission's and staffs <br />role in the approval of use permits and PUD modifications. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Page I <br /> <br />July 13, 1994 <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />. <br />
